APEC protest

Just wondering if anyone is planning to take any photos at the APEC protest in Sydney on Saturday. I plan to use an older compact camera (PowerShot A310) as I don't want my new camera smashed by the cops.

Anyone done any protest photography before? I've done a little bit, but if anyone has any tips that'd be great.

Anyone got any good pics of the APEC protest.

My older camera broke the night before the protest (lucky I've bought a new camera) and so I have no protests of the day of the protest, though have photos of the festival thing on the Friday and others.

Was really looking for some photos especially of the Red Bloc.
