Upgrading the forum software has highlighted for me how diverse everyone is here in regards to computer and browser. Awesome! Continuing that theme, I am wondering what operating system(s) people regularly use... no real reason, just curious :)

Windows 7 64bit....but it's giving me dramas at the moment. I'm about to format & reinstall :/ ...contemplating 32 bit for extra stability.
What's your OS Craig?
Windows 7 64 bit
btw, for those who is worried about issues or problems and not upgrading (using XP, Vista)
UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 7, is the best OS ever, there wont be any troubles or problems installing old stuffs from ur previous computer.
:P

I run 4 computers................3 on Vista 32 bit and 1 on Vista 64 bit. The only one I ever have problems with is the 64 bit Mofo which is my media server. There are real problems with legacy software compatability on 64 bit O/S.
(My CNC wont work on 64 bit, BassBox Pro wont work on 64 bit and either will my proprietry room EQ software)

Windows 7 64 bit primarily followed closely by linux (Fedora 64-bit and Ubuntu 32-bit).
I have no stability issues with win 7 64-bit. What kind of issues do you have?

not entirely sure...there appears to be a svchost with a memory leak (svchost continuously over 100,000K) that I can't seem to resolve atm...it really chugs my compute down...I think the quickest solution for me at the moment is to format/reinstall. I am loving win 7 though...wouldn't ever consider going back!

my reason for thinking of switching to 32 bit was for my audio apps

Not sure what kind of audio apps you run Xaiya, but in terms of pure audio quality for playing music I've found no difference in audio quality between the two. If you're a mixer and like to create music 32 bit is the go.

Check out this article regarding memory leaks in win 7, it may help out your problem.

Cheers
I run five PC's at home, all of them with XP Pro. Haven't got time to fiddle with Linux these days and have no need for Windows 7 (not that I want it). Next PC will most likely be running MacOS.
Craig, there's a bunch of VBulletin stats hacks available that'll show which OS people are using, which browser, which resolution, etc, etc. Quite handy.

A range of stuff from Win 7 & Win XP on a couple of laptops to Mac OSX on a Mac Mini. Prefer to use the Mac mostly.

Windows XP and Vista at work. Windows 7 64 bit at home. I'm not a fan of Vista, I think it's too resource intensive. But 7 fixed a lot of those problems.
