Made this bit of a video on the beach at Thurra River Camp. Not crash hot but fun doing it. ;)
Also a still image related to the video.

I really like the pic though Laurie! What sort of PP have you done to achieve such a fine result?

Well, I'll try and make a long story short with a picture:

I use Irfanview for much of my basic stuff.
Select an area. A bit of practice and trial and error involved here.
Click on Image and hold down the Ctrl key. Click Auto Adjust Colours.
The programme stretches the contrast over the whole image, according to the values in the selected area. I don't understand the computer maths but as far as I can see, it seems to stretch the contrast on each channel (RGB) independently. So if you move the selection, you get a different edit.
I haven't figured it out yet, but it must be possible to do this manually in a more sophisticated programme by decomposing to the three channels, stretching the contrast and then recomposing.

I really enjoyed that Laurie. Maybe you should splice the lovely pic into the end of the video for some added impact. Just a thought.

Thanks Kaz! Glad you liked it and didn't get travel sick. ;)
Thanks aslan. Yes, when I learn a bit more about making movies I may put stills throughout the video. Can't be all that hard.
I enjoyed this too, it looks like a magic place, thanks for sharing.
