This little thunderhead passed over my house in Canberra last night.

That's excellent, Baz!

As much as I enjoy your photos of the heavens I have to admit that I really like your "expansion" into other subjects like waterfalls, Kosciusko camping and stormlapses. Very good!

Thanks Craig. Yes, there is a lot more to photography than capturing photons from millions of light-years away....It's good to try everything and practice!

Congrats Baz, this is a great set. I was trolling your site again yesterday, I love the work you do, very inspirational.
It seems when you are not taking images of photons millions of light years away, you are taking images of other things, millions of years in the making...
Nice work mate..

Nice work mate..

We are surrounded by so much beauty it is sometimes hard to take it all in. I get quite overwhelmed with gratitude when I realize what a special place it is we live in.

So many interdependent systems to make living conditions perfect for us, from the subatomic, to microscopic, to the infinite universal scale!

How can we not photograph it to share with others who may not get the opportunity to see and learn about these things?

I feel so privileged and loved.
