Just found this site this morning, great to find another dedicated Aussie Photography forum.
Have recently moved down to the SNowy Mountains region (am near Jindabyne) and am absolutely loving the scenery.
I do, however prefer portraiture and have just invested in a Canon EOS 350D with a kit lense 18-55mm, am hoping to upgrade in the near future to something a bit better but will have to wait for the meantime.
Have posted some pics in the still life forum and am having a ball looking around.

Hi there SG,
Welcome to the forum, will go and have a look at your shots. As for upgrading, nothing wrong with the 350D (have one myself along with the 30D).
Really look forward to seeing the scenery around the mountains.

Welcome aboard .. I've already seen some of your pics and they are great !
I have a 350D too and am quite happy with it. It'll be a while before I feel the need to upgrade.
