im duncs
im in yr12 and doing photography at school.
ive been into photography for a while
and got a camera (fuji s9500) for xmas.

i was lucky enough to go to sanfrancisco over the xmas break
and got some rad shots there.

id love it if you could look at my pictures and tell me how i could improve.

im mainly into skate, architecture, landscapes, macro and people photography.

Hi Duncs & welcome to the forum. Like the third shot. Think it is a good shot of a difficult bridge to photograph. First one with the ants is a great idea however you have lost focus on the ants. Believe me that is difficult the way they move. Perhaps flash would have been good to freeze the action there & enhance a bit of detail. Secnod one I think I would have panned a little to the left to get rid of that tree trunk & increased exposure to get a bit more detail. Great to see someone having a go at difficult subjects. Keep at it & ask plenty of questions. Regards

The S9500 is a beast to get a grasp on but I love it. Still curse away, lol but thats mainly due to me being in a hurry & most of the time decked out in full bike gear.
Gut feeling telling me you have auto focus on, ( going by bridge pic ), the best tip I can give is, Turn it off & go manual.

nah im always shooting manual.

unless its just a point n shoot, when its just to remember a memory or something then ill set it to full auto.
