Chris was actually most of the way through a front-sault/flip, but I have come to the conclusion (after many attempts) that such manuevers just don't look good in still form :(

hey mate, its a cool shot none the less. what camera you using?

Why not try using a burst? then basically using PS, throw all the images together and you will get a front flip in sequence.

It's a Pentax MZ-60 (hooray for film!).
Thanks for the tip, I'm not sure how fast the fully-automatic mode is (I have only used it by accident once on a stationary dog), but I might give it a go and see what happens.
