First play with photoshop

I have modified an image to hopefully give it an illusion of being on water(a little).
This is just my first use of photoshop, so i'm a newbie at it,

lol, not a bad effect, it looks like the bowl is floating. The bottom of the bowl looks jagged now. I only use PS for playing with colours and such and not for effects so I don't know how hard it was to 'cut it out'.

different approach to photoshop. i use it more for trying to save a **************** photo, which is always obvious isn't it.

now if you can get a bit of a circular ripple effect around the bowl that would top it off

thanks, ripples around the feeder will be a little harder, not sure if i'm up to it at the moment.

Hi Brax,

I am only new to PS as well, so I like your attempt.

I think it may look better if the ripples were from the bowl down, or as Davo said, circular.
