Lucky enough to stumble across this beautiful flower last week. Not sure if I should crop in harder or leave it in its full glory?

Thanks Shaddsi,

Ref the exposure - I think that is a combination of my preference for dark, full contrast backgrounds to my images and the fact that this forum background is white. The image looks brighter when displayed on a dark background click here to see original (http://fess67.smugmug.com/Flowers/Flowers/IMG1779/729639655_TYduZ-L.jpg)

Here is one where I have increased the exposure. Any more and I start getting blown areas.

Thanks for looking.

I have to say i prefer the one with the bumped exposure. It just has that vibrancy that you expect from a flower..

SO sharp it almost looks as though I could reach through my monitor and pick it up

Stunning shot, and I would like to second the problem with exposure and blowing out detail.......Its a fine line.
I like the first shot, for me its perfect.
