Michael, Shots are actually good however think they have lost impact as the shaded areas have lost most detail which in fact takes away from the effect. Maybe some tweaking on the exposure would help. Regards

Thanks for your comments Rob, I will go and have a try at bringing out a bit of the detail in the shaded areas, and see wht they turn out like.

i wonder if HDR would work in B&W... Hmmmm
