Hi Guys
Did the Bridge Walk for Harbour Bridge 75th Anniversary last night.
Was quite surreal. Smoke machine, light show, LED lit hats. Was amazing.
Once I dev my shots (film buff, sorry:) ) I'll post a few.
Anyone else that's tech savvy got some to post??
I did take my digi, but noisy as.
A big screw you to my friends that vybed me outta taking my tripod.
It wasn't half as crowded as I expected.
GREAT NIGHT!!!!!

I did the walk during the day so when i sort through the shots i will post a few. It took us forever to do the walk as we had my Grandma who is 91 and was there when the bridge opened (and every other time is has been opened including the sorry walk). she was in a wheelchair but we kept getting stopped by people who wanted to be photographed with her, it was quite surreal. It wasn't very crowded when we started out but got progressively more so as we approached the end, by which time a couple of tv crews stopped us to talk to her. Still we all had a great day. I was tempted to go back and try for some night shots but my partner was unwell so unfortunately i couldn't.

Hey all,

I was at a seminar in Sydney this week and paul Cave was one of the guest speakers, amazing story, over 9 yrs persistance finally paid off, he was very passionate about it and told some good stories from the climbs....

At $180 a pop though, rahter expensive for the average family....

I am suprised you can take a camera actually, the bridgewalk on the Sory Bridge up here you can't, apparently...

Heya Atas
We're actually talking about the Bridge Walk (1 off closure of traffic lanes so we could walk down the middle of road/bridge) NOT the Climb, which at $180 minimum now, is even more of a tease that you can't take a camera up there.
I have mates that used to climb it illegally and the shots they used to get were amazing to say the least.
That will never happen again... well getting away with it is another story :)
