This is my first time at event photography, so please be gentle...lol

Westbury in Tasmania has a lot of Irish heritage and they take St Patrick's Day quite seriously. It was a two day celebration which kicked off with a parade. These are 3 of the better ones I took.

C&C welcome but no "tweeking".

Thanks

number 2 for me... everyone is framed nicely and the angle is good. gets the details on the drum, everyone's stride etc...

i like the perspective of 3 too, but it seems a little dark (tree shadow i assume) which loses a little detail. but great colours. I reckon bump them up just a little to make them leaves and kilts pop.

Thanks SSSchwing, I'll try adjusting the saturation and see what happens.

Jodi,
Agree with SSS. No 2 is a great shot. Captures the atmosphere well

Captured the day well Raven.
Your finishing touches with the border works well.
Keeps the eye on the subject.
