did this one from albert park beach

i arrived pretty late, was pushing for time, and then went to get some beers too which made me even more late...
and i'm really kicking myself for it because the clouds were perfect for a timelapse, and it was an amazing sunset
but it was also incredibly windy, and you can see the camera shake quite a lot, i didnt even have the tripod extended up high

what is the purpes of the USB to the laptop. IS that a way of uploading the images as soon as they are taken?

That's terrific, Mate! Astounding!

Right in to it from the jump! Full of interest to the end!

At first I thought we were moving, then I thought you must be zooming. The sense of movement is tremendous!

I played it over and over trying to take it all in. That was quite a visual experience!

Well done, Mate! Very well done! :)

the usb cable lets me remote control the camera from my laptop
and using eos utility i can set an interval timer to take a photo every 5 seconds
the other way to do it would be to use a tc-80n3 remote

Wow Bob, youe inspired me!

I had thought to set a time lapse up on our deck for our new years party, be interesting to see what photos we get when people forget the camera is there..especially as the night wears on..lol

I will still do that, but this sequence inspired me to try something more complex..everytime there is a storm, I head up the hill from my place to the high voltage powerlines..from there you can see them go right down the hillside to the twonship below...looks wicked in a storm with clouds behind it, always trying to catch out lightning behind them, but so far no luck.
But a sunset there with rolling clouds/..awsome!
Can't wait to try it, thanks for the inspo!
