Here's a little video I made for my twin Grandsons, 21 months.

We live 4000 kilometres apart so don't get to visit all that often.

When visiting a few months ago I taught them the Granddad secret sign and they remembered it when we dropped in the other day.

You'll soon learn the Granddad secret sign for yourself, from the video. ;)

Not 100% sure this system is going to let me post the video, but I'll give it a whirl.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TRcrEgax8Ts&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TRcrEgax8Ts&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

It's lowest quality for dial up.

Amazing where photography has come over the past few years. I made this video with an Olympus P&S camera and edited in Windows Movie Maker. I hope such videos will help me to keep a little closer to the boys.

Hand held in my left hand.

Hair and make-up: Well, I ran my hand over my head.

Wardrobe: Found the shirt in the bedroom. It's pretty hot and I've been mowing the lawn, but I thought I'd better button the shirt up. ;)

Thanks Kaz.

Yes, it is quite personal, but I thought I'd share.

My art comes from my heart. If ya not prepared to open ya heart to the world, then ya not an artist, I reckon. ;)

Laurie special moments are what life is all about and we create them however we can. It is wonderful that technology has enabled a communication like this. Not only 20-30 years ago that would have taken months and a very expensive video camera to send such a message, now we can do this and keep in touch almost instantly.

Thank you for sharing your special moment with your grand kids, you just got to love technology.

That is a wonderful personal moment, thanks for sharing. Great that they remembered the Grandad secret sign. Memories made with grandparents stay with us forever and help us develop into people they would be proud of.

Thanks Jim, Aus, leemac.

Yes quite personal. Not very good photography, done with the camera in my left hand. Low quality resolution for dial-up.

Photography has so many uses and standards. Even low quality stuff such as this can be of value when viewed in it's context.
