Nice work, Mike. Looks like celebrations start early in your neck of the woods. I am ruing the fact I will be in Launceston instead of Melbourne when the celebrations are in full swing. Hope to see some cool lion-dance shots. What about using a shallower DOF in shots like your 3rd to blur out those heads in the background? I took some shots at the Commonwealth games & had athletes with lots of slobs in the background.
