Hi y'all Im new around here and new to digital photography, I have a Nikon dslr and lens here is a one of my attempts at macro, (sort of)

I have many roses, all different colours and combinations of colours, but my favourite is still the 'plain' old red one. Just love them.

With our worst drought in 100 yrs up here, having any flowers is hard to do, and if there is one thing I have found with roses, thay sure need a lot of water to make the most of their blooms...

Keep up the nice work and i hope you enjoy your new camera.

thanks atlas, our garden is mainly native plants but we have a few roses in the front garden.
