Surprised you didn't have the clubies or police try to move you on ? I suppose you were not on the beach. Just curious about how many shots did you do to get this ?

It can be a problem at the beach I've been agresively threatened more than once for taking beach pics, in this case i wrapped the G9 around a post with a bendy and set it on time lapse and just stood next to it, about 20 mins

Ah I have a G10 and that is an easy way I like it. Certainly a little less obvious than a DSLR and Tripod.

You must not be easy to see as from what I can see very little of them even look at you.

Now I want a G9!!!

I have a time lapse remote for my canon dslr , and its far more variable than the inbuilt on the G9 You can set it for one pic an hour or one a minute or second etc.

That is awesome Mike.
I would like to see 1 just on the surf, there is something mesmorising watching it at speed.

Care to share how this is done for those of us not in the know.

Nice one, Mike!!
I find that's the only time when i bring out the G9 these days (great handy camera btw)...when using the timelapse video function.

Dunno what happened with the G11 though?? sorta a downgrade from the G10.
