Hello all. Seems the thing to do by starting in here so I will post. Who am I? Well, I am fishman. I got into photography after being asked to do some automotive photography for carsales.com.au. I bought myself a good camera to do the job and found I liked using it.
I live around Geelong so alot of my images revolve around the sea or shoreline. I dont know why but I enjoy black and white photography more. Something about the 'feel' of it - like its timeless in some way.
I have shot my sister in laws wedding so far and done some portraiture of my nephews and kids. I am using a fuljifilm finepix 5500 camera with some addd lenses (wideangle mainly) and filters (mostly UV.) I someone was willing to give me say 2 grand I would be out to get me a canon 400d. ;)
Anyhow, Enough of me. Mainly here I guess to learn and get some pointers. If you got any tips then please advise!
