They do look old dont you think?I was using photo Express...
I also liked the axe one...they were taken just a few min apart
at the same place as all that green grass...

And whats wrong with old :p
Yes the 3rd may be the pick of the bunch, I also like the 1st two for the old effect.

I like the 3rd shot with the axe the most.

The others seem slightly OOF, which does make them look genuinely old, as SSSchwing said. :)

The back wheel of the bike appears to have a reflector on it, which might be a hidden clue in the photo, but also might spoil the attempted magic. How about some damage to the photo right in that spot? ;)

Actually, after just scrolling back up to look at them, the first 2 are more convincing as old photos. The first might be a bit too sharp. Just my 2c.

Cheers! Graham.

I love the second shot of the hay shed, it reminds me of photos that my great grandfather would show me of where he grew up as a child :)

nice work on all three. 1st response to shot three was that i wanted to see the actual axe-blade, but maybe that's just me!! shot two has a nice old world ambience to it, but perhaps needs a foreground for real impact? shot 1 i really like as is, although the reflector on the pedal catches the eye a bit.

just my instant reaction to each one.

Ilove the third photo. I have several very old books of photos, taken with amazing Box Brownies probably, and the clarity and feel is there. It was all in the eye of the photographer, rather than the technology, and you have that talent. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

If you can lose the reflector and the brake lever in the first one you have a very nice shot. I could almost swear it was taken by your grand dad with a box brownie. To be honest the second shot doesn't do anything for me, but that's me. The third I would like a lot more if you lost the pipe/drum on the left side. Try cropping just inside the drum and just under the axe and see if you like it. Photography is art so my opinion is only my opinion.
