No C&C from me, they're really beautiful Raven :) How do you keep that colour going on? I like this touch because it is really subtle.

shes only young isnt she? So for her to be able to pose like that is great ...has taken me years to actually get my kids to sit still long enough to take a 1/2 decent shot of them.
Most I have had are suprise attacks LOL

I use PSP9 to desaturate the image to -90 if that makes any sense.
Yes Snowygal she is only just turning 4 but I think that Im giving her a camera phobia lol. She prefers to be behind the camera rather than in front of. She occasionally co operates with me and last night was one of those times...yay!!

Thankyou for your lovely comments. I guess what I really need to know is am I starting to get it right. Up till now my portrait shots have all been candids so I wanted to concentrait on a more formal/posed/studio portrait.

seems to be like youre coming along in leaps and bounds!
did you do these at home?And if you did what was the set up (have always wanted to do some replicated studio shots at home, just never seem to get around to it (kinda like my self portrait Im gonna do for the jan Challenge ;) )

these were taken out in my shed with a set of tradesman's lights and a couple of pieces of glad bake for softening the lights (which i don't reccomend cause they almost caught fire...lol)
