Hi from a newbie & happy new year!

Hi folks,

I came across the site while browsing for info on DSLR's, I have always had a SLR of one make or another for the last twenty years (favourite was an X700, still kicking myself for selling it) and of recent times a P&S digital. Although I have reasonable experience with cameras & photography the skill level is still very basic. So like many of others I have joined to gain advice and converse with people that have a simular interest.
