This shot was taken early in the morning while camping at Flanagan Reserve, Rathdowny. I love the eeriness of the fog and the down right Aussieness(ooh new word!:D)of it.
Sorry still don't know how to cahange this properties prob. Hope its not too much of a pain.:(

I love the mood of this shot and the overall composition, but the puppy down the bottom either needed to be completely in it, or not in it at all - but the rest is gorgeous :)

*LOL* Oh it is too - so sorry, going blind sheesh - oooooooooooh the man has turned the light off in the other room and the drum is as clear as bells NOW - sorry about that

love the atmosphere in this, you can feel how crisp it is and smell the smoke, great shot!

i meant to comment on this when i posted but my boss grabbed and dragged me out to lunch.

aqlmost everything works in this shot. the B&W works great with the smoke. and that puppy, HOW CUTE! :D

I love campfire shots as they evoke so many great memories. Your shot is a great one, and captures the mood beautifully.

It doesn't seem common to post on a theme within a thread in this forum, so hopefully this doesn't offend, but I'd like to share a couple of campfire moments to complement yours.

They are lovely there is nothing quite like a fire to stare into! I have just come back from Fraser Island where we were not allowed to have a fire, it was a very different experience, but we survived....just :)

Ahhh yes, the puppy and the drum :o :eek: hahaha one moment I still chuckle over now and an eye opener for this glare lol
