Self portrait - bleh

OK, had to do one - so decided to make it black and white, and moody

I went through the black and white process mentioned on one of those links downstairs and even worked out layers - yippee

OK, C and C about pic, not my ordinary dial :P

What can i say, every woman is beautifull and after all with the real pretty ones beauty is only skin deep, from what i've seen on here the females here have it where it counts, on the inside.:)

got no issue with the subject, but i don't like the crop. way to tight for my liking :)

It isn't cropped, that was deliberate composition for its purpose :) Only tweaking was the break down into black and white! It was about natural light - so was window light and the reflector on the table and U2 in the background

yea a course. Oh post it!! It's just a head and we sure don't mind posting other people's heads. I am super shy and as I said, unphotogenic - but yeah, it really is just another pic. We don't really let other people's vanity or shyness get in the way of a mood or shot - oooo typed that with an i lol

My last self portrait was naked and ummm did rather well at camera club so now my naked body has been flashed all over the net and on display at darling harbour. eeeek

Thanks Rebecca :) I should have put a bigger one up. Actually, it was your pic that made me post mine lol I wasn't newd, but I didn't have make-up on - so it was au naturale as any of my pics get that sort of even look half respectable!

and by respectable, I mean - I am the only person I know who people go WOW you don't look anything like your pic when they see my pics lol - this one is OK, as in - it actually looks like me, and I don't look 50 :p

Well Karen you are a brave girl, actually Rebecca you are even braver! I am also very unphotogenic - NO I MEAN REALLY....for every 100 pics of me I have to throw out 99...LOL
It's actually quite good to put a face to a name, you are not how i pictured you at all!!!
Maybe 'Self portrait' should be a monthly challenge...that way we all get to see what each other looks like....*GROANS* Can't believe i just said that....LOL

Nah not brave - people see you on the street everyday. I saw Rebecca's and thought - why am I being so vain in NOT posting it? Sure, no supermodel but meh. I like this self-portrait idea because it is REALLY tough to do lol unless you just love being in front of the camera, not behind it :)

I won't ask what you imagined me to be like lol don't know if my ego could take it ;)
