well I am a sucker for black and white and do run a pc screen a lot darker than most people (no idea why) but even your centre rocks look super dark on my screen. Really nice composition though :)

Hi Marc,
I agree with Jane, just a little too dark in the shadows, not that I think colour would be any better to help highlight it.
With the clouds it could be mistaken for a cold winters day at the beach, or a Victorian one in summer :D
Shadows look fine on my computer, lots of detail right down to the sand. Nice photo!

I really like this, love the moodiness of it, think the black and white gives it a greater depth

Cool! I swapped screens with my son the other day and I could see how different a pic can look, especially in B&W - interesting really.
Now, not only can I blame the chemist chick, being out of it for 10 years, I can now also blame my screen :D

yep, looks fine on my screen. shadows work well with it whoel shot
and Atlas... Victorian summer hey.... 42 down here over the weekend! :p

When i took that pic over here in W.A there was a storm acually approching.
Started to rain about an hour after that pic was taken.

Great thread I just adjusted my screen as i like it dark WOW what a difference to this photo. Great shot.
