New to Sydney...any photo groups around?

I've just moved to Sydney and have just brought a 400D. Still trying to get to learn it. Are there any photography groups around? :)

try doing a search for camera clubs, I am unfortunate that their arent any in my area but where we lived previously they had one and I found it invaluable

Well, I have been here a day and have already gained much advice for my lighting situation. We have a camera club around here which I might look into but this place seems to be just what I was looking for when I found it!

What part of Sydney are you in?

There's a number of camera clubs around where you can meet and interact with real people, just to fill in the gaps which on-line doesn't really cover :)

I'm involved with the Parramatta camera club and can recommend coming along to our end of year meeting this Wednesday night. Club's website is at: www.parracameraclub.com.
There's also clubs at Blacktown & Castle Hill our this way (mid-west?).

Best place to start is the FCC - NSW federation of camera clubs.

Wow, actually there's 33 camera clubs on their list in Sydney! You should find a club easily.
