This was at the 'alter' (Beach Wedding) while the Celebrant was doing the introductions. Certainly looked like Love and Happiness in one to me.

I don't usually do this kind of processing (Kind of high-key, weird black and white) -- But for some reason, I loved it on this particular photo.

C&C / Thoughts / Etc are as always appreciated!

Definitely shows love and happiness to me. You can feel the love the woman has for this man.

I agree that the high key/black and white processing really works with this as well. When you look at it it is like they are the only 2 people there - which I'm sure is exactly how they were feeling at the time.

Great capture, love the emotion, not a fan of the processing. Perhaps, artistically I am not up to speed, but I see nothing wrong with capturing a beautiful moment like this in it's natural form, unless of course it could not be salvaged in that state, which happens from time to time. I would be interested in seeing the original.
With time I'm sure my views may change, but for now that's where I'm at.

Yeah, the different processing effects is definitely a learning curve / acquired taste -- I used to think the same - "Why, oh why did they ruin that picture with some random effect?!", but it has certainly grown on me and I love doing these different spins from time to time.

The original is also definitely all there, as I give the client both copies for them to pick from in proofing as my little artistic adventures aren't always loved lol.

This is practically SOOC with my typical proofing adjustments done, no crop, in full color for you Darren:

Nothing wrong with being creative, far from it...at this stage I'm just trying (emphasis on the trying bit) to be more creative with composition, that way once I have that nailed I can work towards the artistic finishes, all that being said though, to me the colour version has more life. Either way the client has the final say, and as long as they are happy, who cares what I think:)

I like that you are pushing the creative boundaries, it provides opportunity for discussion.

Totally understandable.

And I care what you think! That is why this thread is here. I appreciate everyone's input - I'm sorry if I sounded as if I didn't appreciate it (I can come across a bit brash on forums, but I can assure you, 9/10 I'll have a smile on my face while posting.)

No worries here:D

I often question myself as to the validity of my statements and whether I'm qualified to offer, and then I realise what a dufus I am and offer my honest feedback, I think it's the only way to grow in this game!

Totally off topic, what's happened to our signatures???

I think your opinions and what quantifies them is well worth the validity so long as you have eyes! Ha.

And I know hey! The pictures in here disappeared for a bit too haha.

The board is probably going through some maintenance or an upgrade perhaps? *Shrugs*

Random as!
