howdy, ive just been mucking around with Photoshop on one of my pictures of a wolf spider!

To get this effect i used the magic wand tool to select and the water and then used the motion blur effect until i was happy with the result :)
The spider itself looks out of focus because i reduced to quality of the photo so i could post it on here.
i would love to see photos of insects if anyone has any?

Hi Doug,
I like it. Though I am not sure from your description exactly how you did it... Was it 2 phots merged into one then blurred ?? Still new to PS so I have no idea !!

thanks atlas, its great to get feedback :)
ill try and explain agian, i used the magic wand tool to select all of the water EXCEPT the water which is around the spider, so that the spider still apears to be slightly sinking.
