Online Proofing and Ordering Website

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to branch out into selling prints to friends and family of my wedding clients.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a modern looking website than can provide me with this service?

You really haven't told us much about what you want, possibly because you haven't thought it through and don't understand the possibilities.

Are you looking for a free host to put up some photos, such as Flickr, or do you want a full blown website. Maybe something in between.

What are your expectations of your web presence?

If you have a successful business, then you may wish to consider buying a domain name and hosting package. A WordPress platform would be one of many options.

But if you've just done a couple of weddings for friends and reckon it all sounds great, then I'd be looking at a free service, at least for a start.

I have started my own photography business doing weddings and portraits. I currently use photobiz (US) which has it's own purchasing site - I can use paypal for purchasing but have to have a US account for credit card purchasing. For the moment I think I will stay with photobiz as it has exactly what an australian service could offer me.
I'd like to increase sales so can sell additional prints :)

I feel like I want to change sites - something that can offer me a few more options and not so many templates.

I recently looked at a web designer to custom design me a website and they quoted me $3500 - $5000. Not quite ready to contribue that kind of money yet.

Try Gallery2 software.
It's a shareware program that you can build into your own website that enables online viewing and purchasing of images.

They are based in the U.S but shipping of prints over isnt that expensive.

They provide a good online presence which is very customisable, you can order prints or even digital copies if you wish to sell them, and other merchandise such as t-shirts and cups etc..

You have unlimited online storage of pictures and..
