Thought I would just take a minute to let people know about a great experience I had recently.
October last year I married my long-time love in picturesque New Norcia and set off on my month long honeymoon to New Zealand. Obviously momentous occasions such as these tend to involve a lot of standing in front of a lens and capturing memories.
Personally, I am a bit of an arty/creative type who likes to do things a bit differently, I'm just not into running off sub-standard prints for the sake of it. So I recently started researching around as to what options are available in regards to collating the huge amount of photography we had produced into a series of bound photo books.
With no effort at all I found Fitzgerald's Photo Lab (http://www.fitzgeraldphoto.com.au/photo-imaging-services/photo-books) which just happened to be up the road from my place in North Perth. These guys directed me to a particular software suite called Cahoots (http://www.cahootsphotos.com.au/) which has been specially calibrated to there printing machines. They also said that if I come in on Saturday mornings they can show me how to utilise the software for the best results.
Look, honestly, I can't tell you how good it is to have your own bound photo book to show off your favourite prints and re-live the moment, as corny as it does sound.
