Thought I would just take a minute to let people know about a great experience I had recently.

October last year I married my long-time love in picturesque New Norcia and set off on my month long honeymoon to New Zealand. Obviously momentous occasions such as these tend to involve a lot of standing in front of a lens and capturing memories.

Personally, I am a bit of an arty/creative type who likes to do things a bit differently, I'm just not into running off sub-standard prints for the sake of it. So I recently started researching around as to what options are available in regards to collating the huge amount of photography we had produced into a series of bound photo books.

With no effort at all I found Fitzgerald's Photo Lab (http://www.fitzgeraldphoto.com.au/photo-imaging-services/photo-books) which just happened to be up the road from my place in North Perth. These guys directed me to a particular software suite called Cahoots (http://www.cahootsphotos.com.au/) which has been specially calibrated to there printing machines. They also said that if I come in on Saturday mornings they can show me how to utilise the software for the best results.

Look, honestly, I can't tell you how good it is to have your own bound photo book to show off your favourite prints and re-live the moment, as corny as it does sound.

Ah! Great post, rokryan!

Please do post a few of your wedding and honeymoon photos for us all to enjoy. You may even get some C&C on your arty style and be able to teach us a thing or two.

They tell me its takes a certain kind of person to want to have a wedding out there because it takes a bit of organising. Jade & I were really lucky we found an awesome wedding specialist named Rosemary Edwards from Abrarcadabra Wedding Décor (http://abracadabraweddingdecor.com.au). Rosemary co-ordinated all the decorations for us which included: Wedding Balloons, Table Centrepieces, Bridal Table, Chair Covers, Table Runners, Rose Toparies, and the list goes on, she was on the ball and cost savy.

We were simply amazed at Rosemary's creativity given that we did not want to over-do it with too much. At the Ceremony, Reception and After Party we had a selection of decorations that just made each event that little bit more special. There is a bunch of photo's on the Abracadabra website both in their photo galleries (http://abracadabraweddingdecor.com.au/gallery.html) from our wedding which we allowed them to use.

If you are looking for some-one to add a finishing touch to your event or wedding we totally recommend Rosemary Edwards of Abrarcadabra.

Yeah! But how about interacting with the forum, rather than spamming.

Hey,

Sorry, I by no means meant to offend anyone here, I just wanted to contribute some info that may be handy to any-one in Perth that is having a wedding or had a wedding and wanted to source a great photo lab? Just was thinking it might be a good way to get involved here, I will definitely contributing through out the forums where I have experience but this was just the first thing I thought of....??

It's just that it started to become like a sales pitch or one of them sales segments where they cant stop bragging how good a product is. Maybe you should work for them :D

I'm sure your intentions are good to help us out and recommending a product. I assume you're just over excited about your product and want to share it with us.

Thanks for the info though.
