bet you are all saying "not another one" but yes another newbie. lol

My name is Jodi and I'm from Tassie. I am looking for comments and advice from people who don't make you feel lousy for not owning a DSLR. I am a member of another forum whos members are a little condesending and this one seemed friendly so here I am!!

I am looking forward to learning from you all.

I think I may be a member of that forum too ;)
And no... it's not a very nice place is it? So I keep coming back here :)

I only just got my first DSLR. The only reason why I got it even was someone could get it for me at a REALLY good price and I would have been insane to pass it up! I will still be using my smaller camera, I love it, and the camera is better than me anyway :) ... if that makes sense! What I mean is I haven't 'outgrown' it yet and probably won't for a long long time!

Steve - I mainly take photos of my 3yr old but I love tking macros or anything that takes my fancy. I am starting to get to a point where I have outgrown my current camera but cant afford a DSLR,:(
