Hi my real name is Pat I am from Sth Of the City in Perth I am some what new to photography not in any club yet but intend to join one to learn the finer points of manual photography.
My main intrest are Macro and flowers.

hi Pat,
camera clubs are great and if you can find one near you it would be brilliant if you could join.

I found that they made me step outside my comfort zone in regards to what I normally shoot, they have regular challenges, comps etc and are a magnificent source of information

Hi Pat and welcome. How far south of Perth? I'm in Mandurah and just joined the local club a few weeks ago. Not a bad bunch and the prez seems to know plenty.
