Should be in still life and technical
I dont understand why one is on it's side.
What are the numbers for in red?
Cropping , lighting and health of flowers all a bit iffy!
What's the comp?

I'd remove the time/date stamp.
Yellow highlight's are blown on the first one, and the shadow distracting.
Maybe crop out the cylinder shaped thing.
Flash is too apparent on the 2nd one.(harsh shadow behind flowers)
Sorry if i've dampened your day, but if your entering a comp C & C from the web is adviseable, so at least you asked.

I get the feeling that i'm seeing too much of the overall scene with these images. If you could re-shoot them (without date stamp) getting in closer to just the flowers and vase. You will probably find the camera will meter the light on the flowers better too.
My film and tv teacher back at school used to tell me "If its awkward or uncomfortable to take a certain shot, its probably the most creatively appealing". So get in there and grab some varied angles. Keep shooting :D
